20th High School Reunion
Well, I am officially back from my 20th high school reunion. It was so great to see everybody. It is amazing to me how some of them have changed so drastically and some of them not one bit. Of course, I am talking about in the looks department. I don't think that you get a fair comparison regarding character on a weekend trip that everyone knows is coming. We have all lived through so many different things, I believe I am safe in saying that not one of us was actually the same. Not only was I excited to see everyone, but it got me so "homesick" for Waynesville. I left the picnic and went on a tour of the town. I visited all the places that I either lived or hung out as a child/teenager, and found that I am so happy with where my life has taken me. I don't want to live in Waynesville anymore at all. It was nice to visit and I loved seeing all of my old friends, but I am glad I live in Florida now. :-)

Easter Weekend
Today is a nice overcast day. The rain is on the way, but not quite here. On days like today, it is amazing to me how pretty everything looks. The grass appears greener and the flower's colors pop. I added some herbs to my herb garden this morning, and hopefully will see the fruits of my labor in a couple of weeks. There is nothing like fresh herbs from your own garden!!
I am getting ready to make the unleavened bread for the Lord's Supper tomorrow. Then I will make my costume for the Easter Sunrise Service, and yes I know I have waited until the last minute for that small detail. I hope the rain doesn't affect the service in the morning. It is a beautiful and powerful play that we do outdoors. The death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord is recreated for all to see. I can't wait to do the play every year. It is surreal to watch the angry crowd yell "crucify him."
The rest of the day will be spent cleaning the house, doing homework, making a trip to the store, and getting everything ready for tomorrow.
Have a great Easter weekend, and remember the reason for this season as well!!
